Planning Your Visit

The Historic Houses of Fairmount Park are conveniently located off of Interstate 76 just west of downtown Philadelphia.

Refer to the Google map below for directions to any one of the participating Historic Houses to start your day. Each house has limited free parking. Take advantage of your favorite GPS application by typing in any of the Historic Houses addresses listed below.

Ticket Information

SPECIAL EVENT TICKETS
Special event day passes available for "Sounds of the Season" 12/1, "Neighbor's Day" 12/8, and "Flavors of the Season" 12/9. Price is $30 and includes entry to all 5 houses and house to house transportation via Holiday Houses Loop powered by PHLASH.
Discounted day passes for Family Day (12/3) and December "Drop In" days are also available for $25 which include entry to all 5 houses.

Tickets are also available onsite at any of the 5 participating houses. Credit Card sales only.
GROUP TOURS
To book a group tour of 15 or more people please contact the Group Sales Department at the Philadelphia Museum of Art at 215-684-7863 or www.philamuseum.org/groupvisits for information.
Group tours of the houses are $10 per person per house. Bus Tours of Fairmount Park also available.
Groups arrive at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to begin their tour. Museum-trained step-on guides will meet you at the West Entrance and direct your motorcoach through the park while providing information and history about Fairmount Park.
Restroom facilities are available for use inside the Museum before you depart for your tour. Please note that the restrooms at the houses are not handicap accessible and are not able to accommodate groups. Groups must provide their own transportation.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
In the case of a cancellation due to inclement weather, buyers will be notified via email at least 24 hours before the event date start time. A notification will also be posted in the “News and Updates” section of holidaysinthepark.com and Fairmount Park Conservancy and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Holiday Houses Loop powered by PHLASH

Special Service: Sounds of the Season (December 1), Neighbor’s Day (December 8), and Flavors of the Season (December 9):

The Holiday Houses Loop powered by PHLASH will provide shuttle service to all five participating houses from East Fairmount Park to West Fairmount Park on the above special event days.

Cost: This dedicated house-to-house transportation is included with the $30 special event ticket price.

Visitors can pick up the Holiday Houses Loop at any of the 5 participating historic houses.

December Drop In Service and Family Day:

Holiday Houses Loop Powerd by PHLASH will also provide support during all advertised December Drop In days and for Family Day (12/2). The loop will begin at PHLASH® Stop 11 (West Entrance to the Philadelphia Museum of Art) and proceed into East Fairmount Park to the four (4) houses participating in “A Very Philly Christmas” programming: Lemon Hill, Laurel Hill, Historic Strawberry Mansion, and Woodford Mansion.

PHLASH will make an additional stop at Cedar Grove in the west side of the Park via the PHLASH® Philadelphia Zoo and Please Touch Museum Loop.

Visitors wishing to visit houses in both east and west Fairmount Park on December Drop In days or Family Day will need to transfer at PHLASH Stop 11 at the West Entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art

Cost: Visitors wishing to use the Holiday Houses Loop on December Drop In days or Family Day can purchase a special $2.00 pass onboard the HHL bus or the Zoo bus. This special pass allows riders to ride from house-to-house within the park.

Please note:

• Holiday Houses Loop tickets will NOT be accepted onboard the PHLASH® Downtown Loop.
• Children 12 and under, SEPTA pass holders and seniors with valid ID ride for FREE.
• PHLASH® Downtown Loop $5.00 All Day passes accepted onboard the HHL.

Public Transportation

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) serves the Philadelphia region with subway-elevated, light rail, trackless trolley, bus routes, and commuter rail lines. SEPTA bus route 32 has a stop at 33rd and Dauphin St. which is just a short walk to Woodford Mansion. Check with SEPTA for other public transit options. SEPTA - (215) 580-7800
